1980 History
Everything in the binders of records was hand-written. Trophies were provided by San Francisco Savings and Loan that also provided the brass plaques for the Ivy Room at the Dollar Clubhouse. Tennis was becoming more popular at Rossmoor so there was a need for more courts. The club voted to affiliate with the Northern California Tennis Association. Individuals could join USTA for nominal fees. No catering for cocktail parties--members prepared the food.

1976 History
Articles of 1976 have Polly Kaiser organizing tournaments. Evidence of tournaments is recorded in perfectly hand-written script. Pictures show the Creekside Courts. Dues were encouraged by barring anyone not paid up from playing in tournaments. Annual Picnic at Dollar? Only if you are a paid member.
Functions included the Wild Card Mixed Doubles, a club cocktail party in May, tournaments in Oakmont and Lagunitas in Marin. T here was even a Tennis Club version of the summer Olympics with members working out to get ready.
Much of the information of these years was in a binder with some news articles but mainly records from tournaments and the printing that is done by hand and is exemplary. Must be seen.
1975 History
The Rossmoor Parkway courts were built making everyone happy.
