Per Blanchard, comments for RTC record
- On 25 November the board held an ad hoc Zoom meeting to discuss defense of Buckeye courts against PickleBall takeover. Agreed that club should speak at Residents’ Forums of the upcoming Finance committee and GRF board meeting.
- Club president spoke at 1 December Finance committee meeting urging the committee to finance PickleBall at Creekside not Buckeye. Funding was approved.
- Club members chosen by the board's ad hoc committee of Slee/TQuinlan/Bollinger presented arguments in Residents’ Forum of the GRF Board Meeting urging funding PickleBall at Creekside but restricting PB from Buckeye.
- The GRF Board unanimously approved the position sought by the tennis club. The following is the extract from the GRF Board meeting minutes sealing the decision:

"A vote was then taken on the main motion to approve all projects for 2021 for the following levels: the Gateway Clubhouse studio project for $400,000 for a total $800,000 from money held from last year and the money designated this year will be for phase one, the pickleball project increased to $300,000, median conversion $50,000, Facilities Master Plan $150,000, walking paths $25,000, testing associated with satellite wastewater recycle facility $20,000, for a total $945,000, and stipulate the Creekside location for pickleball and that players use a list of paddles to be determined and subject to change by GRF.

- Still waiting for reimbursement for cancelled 2020 events

- dues for members have been waived for 2021 as approved in November 2020 meeting
- Suggests a new directory for 2021 be issued
Facilities - Jerry Quinlan
- Backboard has been installed paid for by RTC with GRF permission. Need to paint back side of boards and look into protection of exposed wood to elements. Guidelines for usage discussed.
- New brooms and rollers have been supplied by GRF. Need to educate users or proper storage
- New and larger signage (12x12) to convey TENNIS ONLY, NO PETS, WHEELED TOYS, PROPER SHOES discussed
- Motion to approve purchase of 8 signs at approximately $150 Approved
Publicity - Amy Bollinger
- Discussed topics of future publicity topics including announcement of new 2021 Board (with pictures to be included)

The Board presented Dave Blanchard with a thank you gift and personal sentiments of all Board members for his excellent handling of turbulent events this last year
