- Our holiday party had 64 people this year and we generally have closer to 100. We collected 120 toys that were donated to the Shriners Children's Hospital in Sacramento. It was suggested that we survey the membership about what they would like for social events next year. Many single people leave or do not come with dancing and we might consider doing team games next year. Al, Emily, and David will work on a survey. Do we want to do something other than a Valentine's Party or at a different time? We can use extra funds to provide more special food or drinks at the barbeques. We could also provide more food at tournaments. If we decide to have an extra party we need to contact recreation to see what rooms are available and when. We can also increase our subsidies for parties. It was suggested that we could have stand up tables for cocktail parties and games like Truth & Lie, Also Linda Hague could collect photos and have a slide show at a party.
