The Rossmoor Mixed Doubles Tournament, played on September 26, organized and hosted by Rolf Kvalvik, at the Buckeye tennis complex was a very successful event.

The tournament followed the Wild Card format which included seven rounds of play with seven different partners each playing four games each round. The man and woman players with the most games won at the end of the seven rounds wins the tournament.

In the men's section, Bob Benz took first place with 21 wins. Dave Kern took second place with 19 wins. Ron Wyman came in at third place with 17 wins.

The woman first place winner was Rena Benz with 18 wins. Loc Barnes and Amy Bolinger tied for second with 17 wins each. Pauline Hanley came in third with 16 wins.
