We have a new parking area for golf carts >>>

In case you haven't noticed, in response to safety concerns expressed by the golf course marshals about RTC members parking golf carts under the big oak tree, which is officially in bounds on the golf course and therefore at higher risk of being a landing area for golf balls, GRF has graded and prepared a parking area for golf carts on the north side of the path that leads between Courts 1/2 ans 3/4. They covered it with crushed gravel, something they were not allowed to do under the oak tree on the other side of the path, for fear of compromising the oak's roots. The gravel is easier to park and walk on than the mulch they had to use on the other side of the path for drainage purposes.  This new area is beyond the out of bounds markers, so is not considered to be on the golf course. In addition, it is more protected by the buckeye trees than the other side of the path (but not totally!)

In the future, please park your carts on this new gravel apron, rather than on the mulch on the south side of the path.  And, as always, be alert, and if you hear "Fore!" or "Incoming!" or something similar, duck and cover!
