RTC Board Meeting
July 19, 2016
Meeting Minutes

Opening Remarks - Randy Kuhl
  • New member Byron Kelly welcomed
  • Minutes approved as written
  • A letter from Rich Racimora was read to membership concerning the ball machine. A motion was made to purchase the machine, and was passed unanimously. The board is attempting to organize a day where the ball machine can be demonstrated to membership to not only help them learn how to use it, but also promote usage.
  • Drop In Tennis---there was a long discussion about how to manage private games vs. open tennis usage. It was suggested that private games should not be played from 9:00 to 11:00 am on Tuesdays and Thursdays because Open (or Drop In) Tennis has priority. There was also a suggestion that GRF rules could/should be changed. President Randy Kuhl pointed out that Open Tennis has first priority on courts 3,4,5 and 6, so members should be respectful of open tennis players who want to use those courts. Also, he mentioned that open tennis has priority on other courts as 3--6 fill up.
