Meeting Minutes:

Opening Remarks - Randy Kuhl

RTC Information Technology Committee - Randy Kuhl

• Still working on photo captions.

Court Engineer / Supplies - Rolf Kvalvik

• Our clocks are falling victim to the elements.   Our reduced inventory of clocks will be temporarily relocated to serve multiple courts until more (better) clocks are purchased.
• We now have an overabundance of tennis balls for the ball machine
• Plans are underway for replacement of rollers and brooms for the courts

Tournaments - Bernie Wolf

• Results --- Rossmoor 12, The Villages 10
• New Members Tournament will be April 23, 2016.   This tournament will also include a potluck lunch hosted by existing members and open-format tennis play into the afternoon.
• Trilogy (here) May 14, 2016 --- signup sheet will go up on April 30, 2016

Wild Card - Barbara Phillips

• May 7th --- wildcard tournaments are going smoothly

Secretary - Les Hoskyns

• The upcoming month's RTC board meeting agenda will be available on the website several days before the meeting from now on.

Treasurer - Barbara Schwartz

Vice President/Trophies - Ron Wyman

Publicity - Ron Wyman

• Articles going into both paper and website smoothly
• Articles appear on website several days before showing up in newspaper

Social - Loc Barnes

• Deadline to sign up for Kentucky Derby Party is May 4, 2016
• Planning for our July party is underway.   We have volunteer organizers for this event.

Membership - Larry Fredricks

• Ball machine usage and court rules will be amplified via website Board Blog entry.
• We had an extended discussion regarding paid Tennis Professional services.   We have interviewed one individual and plan to interview a few more who may wish to offer their services to RTC members.   Our policy in this area will soon be published on the website along with contact information for individuals who have agreed to provide services under our guidelines.
