Board vacancies and nominations need to be addressed >>>

Vice President Dick Normington and Publicity Chairman Dave Kern will be finishing their terms on the RTC board this year, and Dave is actually resigning his post as of late October due to travel plans.   Therefore, barring lateral moves by other board members, those two board positions will need replacements.   Past President Pauline Hanley was approached to put together a Nominating Committee, and was given a few leads for possible committee members to get her started, as well as for possible board nominees.   She was advised to not feel constrained by these suggestions.   She has been quite busy with co-planning the first Rossmoor Calcutta tournament, scheduled for 10/10-10/12, 2014, but reassures the board that the Nominating Committee will shift into gear once the tournament is over.
